At Duncan Family Farms we are always seeking ways we can continue to grow high quality, healthy products in a sustainable manner. We have done extensive research in various CEA (Controlled Environmental Agriculture) models and are excited to announce that we are partnering with Agbotic for our foray into CEA. Our decision was based on several factors that Agbotic provides such as the continuation of growing our products in soil, water efficiency, and the flexibility of growing a diversity of crops are just a few of the reasons.
The importance of CEA can no longer be ignored. Climate change has impacted farming in that we no longer manage by studying weather patterns but instead now manage weather events which are much more volatile and create an increased risk to the production of food worldwide.
