Kiah and I attended a webinar about Women in Agriculture and it’s clear - women have an important role in agriculture. We comprise 43% of the agriculture workforce, while working significantly longer hours than men for a fraction of the pay and credit. We are also far more likely to represent the household in the grocery store - actually buying the food we help grow. When the world invests in empowering women, the world becomes a better place. Accomplishing this starts with gender equality. Agbotic is working to achieve complete gender equality in the world of agriculture and Kiah and I are incredibly excited to be a part of this change.
